SERA Bio Nitrivec – liquid biofilter

Biocultures Sera Bio Nitrivec for biological purification of the aquarium. To be used when making new aquariums, cleaning the filter and changing the water.

This is a special mixture of purified bacteria that destroy ammonium and nitrites. With a long-lasting effect, these microorganisms remove contaminants caused by fish waste, rotting plant parts and food.

Sera Bio Nitrivec has a new improved formula for removing impurities. In addition to the billions of purifying bacteria, the new Sera Bio Nitrivec contains a combination of fine volcanic rocks that are specially treated for aquaristic purposes and provide healthy, clean water in a natural way.

How does it work?

Inside the volcanic rocks there are a huge number of small holes filled with ions, which have a positive effect on water quality, such as calcium, potassium and magnesium. If there is contaminant in the water, such as ammonium, potassium, calcium or magnesium are released into the water within a few seconds and the dangerous ammonium is fixed in the holes in the volcanic rocks, where it is destroyed by the purifying bacteria. Due to the large surface area of ​​volcanic rocks and their aforementioned property, a huge amount of organic and inorganic waste is fixed and bacteria can start decomposing it directly on site.

What else do we need to know using this product?

Shake well before use so that the volcanic rocks are evenly distributed throughout the product. After adding the detergent, the water will become cloudy for a short time. The clouding will disappear in 4-24 hours depending on the temperature. During this time, the pollution will be fixed in the volcanic rocks. Then the water will be pure as never before.
