SERA Toxivec – immediate protection against heavy soiling

Description

In cases of high levels of ammonium / ammonia, nitrites, chlorine, heavy metals you need Sera Toxivec. You can also use it when changing the water, as well as when cleaning the filter. Removes residues of some drugs (methylene blue, malachite green) and after treating the water with Sera Algovec. Available in packs of 50, 100, 250, 2,500 and 5,000 ml.

In biologically active aquariums, the bacterial flora usually lowers ammonia levels and converts it into non-toxic nitrates through nitrites. But like all biological systems, the bacterial flora must first adapt to the specific conditions in the aquarium. In the event of a sharp rise in nitrite and ammonia levels, it takes several days to reach normal values. The other alternative so far has been frequent water changes, which, however, weakens the bacterial flora.

With Sera Toxivec Sera offers you a dirt remover as well as balancing nitrite and ammonia levels in about 60-90 minutes. Each normal dose lowers ammonia and nitrate levels by an average of 30-50%, with the maximum that can be eliminated with a single dose being 1.3 mg / l ammonia or 0.75 mg / l nitrite (= 0.23 mg / l NO2 – N) . In case of higher contamination, it is recommended to increase the dose according to the instructions for use or to dose again after 1-2 hours. So Sera Toxivec allows you to fill the aquarium with fish faster. Also in cases of contamination, it instantly and effectively prevents fish from being damaged until a stable bacterial environment is formed. In addition, Sera Toxivec prevents the formation of high nitrate levels, as ammonia and nitrites are directly neutralized and no longer form nitrates.

Important tip: Once you have treated with medicines or used Sera Algovec or Sera Snailpur Sera Toxivec will remove the remnants of them.
