Tetra Pond AlgoFree* effectively eliminates several types of algae. It permanently eradicates common algae in your ornamental pond and combats the floating algae responsible for green water. You’ll see reliable results in just a few days. The ingredients in Tetra Pond AlgoFree* break down the algae’s cell walls. The remains are then rapidly broken down by microorganisms. Due to this process, temporary foaming may occur in your ornamental pond. In addition to its powerful algae treatment, this product is particularly useful for preventing algae blooms, especially in the spring. Tetra Pond AlgoFree* can also be used to control algae growth during the summer. This product is suitable for ornamental ponds and does not harm fish, plants, or microorganisms. To achieve the best possible results, shake Tetra Pond AlgoFree* well before use and follow the detailed instructions. Thanks to the included dosing cap, Tetra Pond AlgoFree* can be dispensed very precisely. Use the dosing cap to add 25 ml per 1,000 liters of pond water and distribute the liquid evenly throughout the water, for example with a stick. Ensure a sufficient supply of oxygen during treatment, and do not use a UV clarifier or activated carbon for at least seven days. You should also refrain from changing the water for about four weeks. In cases of heavy algae growth, a repeat application of half the dosage is recommended after a two-week period. To restore clear water more quickly after using Tetra Pond AlgoFree*, Tetra recommends using Tetra Pond CrystalWater about four to five days after applying Tetra Pond AlgoFree*. Any remaining algae can be removed more easily through the filter or by hand, for example with the Tetra Algae Net.
